Name, Claim and Reframe: Personal Stress Tools
- 9:00 - 1:00
- In-Person
- By Donation
Stress is inevitable. Ongoing doubt, anger or fear is not. The ability to name our stress, to claim our power over it and to reframe it in a way that allows us to let go of whatever holds us back is a skillset we all can learn and refine.
In this workshop you’ll learn to:
- Name your stress – this sounds easier than it is. When we can identify how stress is impacting our thoughts and emotions, we’re no longer powerless
- Claim your power – once you’ve named it, you can challenge the thoughts and emotions that stress is causing you
- Reframe it – changing how we look at whatever has or is causing us stress can allow us to move forward in a way that’s much easier
We can all benefit from learning this skill and sharing it with those we care about.
The 3-hour session will be facilitated by Mary Ann Baynton, Director Collaboration and Strategy, Workplace Strategies for Mental Health. It is free to attend and lunch provided by Workplace Strategies for Mental Health compliments of Canada Life. Donations to BCalm are gratefully accepted and can be made through the main conference registration here.
